With the consistent decline in new Covid-19 cases and government’s decision to move from Lockdown level 3 to level 1, we are happy to announce that donations in kind will now be accepted at our Home.
Please drop off items at our reception – 222 Lena Ahrens Road, Glenwood, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 15:30.
We are also gratefully accepting donations of meals again. While pre-packed meals are preferred, cooked meals are also appreciated. All meals donated will follow the proper protocols in terms of drop off and distribution, details of which will be made available to you when you confirm your donation.
Our Volunteer Programme will also be re-instated. Strict Covid-19 protocols will be followed. Please contact our Child and Youth Care Manager, Ntombenhle Mkhwanazi, on 031 2011301 or email info@dch.org.za for more details.
Whilst we have relaxed restrictions in respect of the Volunteer Programme, we are cognisant of the need to minimise the risk of infection and as such the Centre will still remain closed to the public.
